Narrative, Continued:

She lives with her parents, her sister, and three teenage girls who are doing their “Service Adventure” year, which is a special program that her church takes part of every year. Rylinn’s parents lead the Service Adventure, which is a program that lets teenagers do a year of service between the time that they graduate from high school and the time that they go to college.

Rylinn and her family go out to eat on special occasions; everybody in her family loves pizza. She enjoys Mellow Mushroom, which is her favorite restaurant in Wake County.

Narrative:

Rylinn is a sweet girl with a very distinct attitude and a funky, awesome style. She and her older sister love to play dress up and baby. Her sister loves to put make up on her and Rylinn likes it too. She also loves to jump on the trampoline that she has in her back yard along with a play set that her dad made. Rylinn wants to be a dancer when she gets older, so she can “do pretty twirls and put on pretty clothes.” Rylinn loves her preschool; she loves to read (look at pictures), or play monster with the boys. “I like it when they chase us, but only if they play nicely. Sometimes we get scared, so we hide,” she says. She likes to play on the computer, too. Some favorite things are the PBS kids web site, practicing her “ballerina jumps” on her trampoline, and riding on her scooter up and down the sidewalk with her friends in her neighborhood.
