Both of Laurie’s daughters were adopted from Asia. She was born and raised in Colorado and lived on her family’s farm. She went to school there and got her two-year degree. After college she was hired for her present telecommunications company, and was required to move to Wake County 27 years ago. Laurie gives her job a seven out of ten on the enjoyment scale. One of the perks of her job is she can work at home. Her family has one computer, which has high speed Internet. Laurie works on the computer most of the day for her job. Her family enjoys going to the library, out to eat, and playing with her two cats and one dog.
