Narrative, Continued:

Jeff does indeed have a library card, but rarely ever goes to the library. Jeff believes that while in his coma he saw God on the day of his nineteenth birthday. He said that God was surrounded by an amazing aura that left him relaxed and calm. The colors that surrounded him were that of every color and some that we don’t even know of. Jeff’s memory of this visit from God has deepened his faith.

Jeff does not think about Wake County very much, but he says that it is still a nice place to live. His main concern though, is that we are cutting down too many trees. “Everyone is cutting down trees but they don’t realize that they (trees) are helping us breathe.”

Narrative:

One second and your life can be changed forever. Six years ago in North Carolina, Jeff was in a car crash that left him in a coma for three months. His family was devastated and left praying for the life of their eighteen-year-old son. Now he is permanently handicapped and will have to go through life with God by his side, helping him choose the right path in his walk with Christ.

At this moment, Jeff lives with his father, mother, and sister, in Fuquay Varina. Jeff works at the Imax Theater at Exploris Museum, and says he likes working there. Since Jeff works at the Imax Theater, he gets to see any movie he would like for free. He drives his car for about 40 minutes to get there. Jeff does have Internet at his house, but says that he is rarely on it. Since his dad and him both have jobs, he says that his family most likely has enough money, but he is not sure. When Jeff first got out of his coma, he did not remember anything but his own name. As a present, he got a dog, which he named little Jeff, since he knew almost no names. He still calls him that to this day.
