Narrative, Continued:

When Jamie is older she said that she would like to lead a bible study. Jamie has understood more about God and Jesus in the past year then she has in her church or youth group. She loves getting together with a group of kids every week and talking about their religion and their thoughts about things they care about. One day Jamie would like to become a youth leader or a camp counselor at a Christian camp. Every night Jamie reads a page or two out of the Bible. Jamie says that she will keep going to FCA through out the rest of her high school years.

“I like Wake County because there are a lot of fun things to do.” says Jamie.

Narrative:

Every Tuesday from 2:30 to 4:00, Jamie goes to FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at her school. At FCA a group of kids talk about their religion, how they can be an active part of their religion, and do fun projects. She likes FCA because she gets to meet a lot of new people. They study and learn the Bible. When they first get there they sing songs. Then, one of the students (most likely to be a senior or a junior) will lead a group discussion. After that, they will play fellowship games like partner tag. This is Jamie’s favorite part of the day. At the end of the class, everyone eats snacks and drinks, socialize, and talk about what they did in class. She says that there is a lot of praying in-between. All of the upperclassman inspires her in her spiritual growth.
