Narrative, Continued:

Jake has lived his whole life in Wake County. Throughout his life, his proudest moment was when his family got a new puppy. He always feels very accomplished while swimming and playing tennis.

When asked about Wake County, Jake said he likes his neighborhood and likes how there are lots of trees and green grass; however he does not like how quickly trees and green grass are being torn away to build big expensive houses. He also likes the parks and schools and loves to get toys from Toys R Us and Target. Jake thinks that there needs to be more water parks and doesn’t like all the trash along the highways of Wake County. Overall, Jake loves living in Wake County.

Jake is wondering why many woods and trees and habitats for animals are being destroyed to build houses that only wealthy people can afford. He feels that the land could be used for more valuable reasons.

Jake is a lively young boy who loves to play with his friends. He is an aspiring comedian who enjoys making people laugh. He also likes to jump on his trampoline and watch television He enjoys playing with his dog, playing tennis, and swimming. At school he has fun, but doesn’t like to do homework.

In school, Jake likes gym class because it gives him a chance to run off all his energy. Computers and art are fun too because it gives him a chance to express his creative side. It takes him ten to twenty minutes to get to his local elementary school each day.

At home, Jake has two older siblings, a sister and a brother. His dog’s name is Sadie, who he loves to play with and he has two cats named Tom and Jerry. Jake enjoys playing games on the computer every now and then. Carpooling with his neighbors to school every morning helps both his family and his neighbor’s family to save gas and help the environment. Jake’s home always had safe drinking water and more than enough food to eat. His family is Christian who celebrates Christmas and Easter every year.
