Narrative:

Ed has moved a lot in his 55 years. He has moved from St. Paul, Minnesota to the midwest and then, back up to the frigid north, down and then to the sweltering south. Almost twenty years ago he settled in Raleigh, the booming capital of North Carolina. The reason that Ed moved to Wake County was for a new job as a Director of Operations with AVair which has become American Eagle. At this point in Ed’s life, he is a Boeing 767 Captain at Maxjet Airways. As Ed put it, “It’s up (he points up with his finger) at about 38000 ft,” because it is hard for him to describe exactly where his work is because he flies all around European and North American continents. After a 20-30 minute commute to the local airport, Ed takes a flight to the airport where his trip actually starts. As a student in college Ed studied Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering. Ed has gone to many, many different schools. From the Locksmithing Institute to the National Radio Institute as well as going to flight schools.  North Carolina’s climate has been suitable, plus, Ed hasn’t minded the change from harsh winters to scorching summers. One person that never had a problem with anyone’s race or ethnicity is Ed. Ed enjoys his community and takes advantage of all of the parks and greenways that he can. Although, with every compliment to Wake County he also has something that he thinks could be improved. Ed thinks that Wake County should look a little farther into the future than they do at this moment. As well as believing that Wake County doesn’t look far enough into the future he also thinks that Wake County does not set their sights high enough, but Ed still enjoys Wake County.
