Narrative, Continued:

Dave also has traditions with his own family in North Carolina. Every Thanksgiving he has all the relatives come and eat at his house, then at Christmas everyone goes to his mom's condo. At Easter everyone gets together at his older sister's house.

Dave first moved to North Carolina 45 years ago because his dad's job transferred them there. His first impression of North Carolina was that everything was new, a new school, a new house, and they were building a new shopping center.

Dave loves Wake County, and appreciates their parks and recreational facilities, and school systems. But sometimes he worries about the school systems and taxes. Dave believes that Wake County should build more schools and not add any toll roads.

Narrative:
If your favorite basketball team was NC State then soon after meeting Dave, you would become close friends. He has enjoyed going to their games since he was a student in 1974. Now he goes to games as a VIP. Dave buys the two tickets to take with friends or a member of his family.

At home, in Cary, he makes most of the meals on his grill outside. He makes all sorts of things on his grill, which could amaze most anyone! Many people would love having one of his home cooked meals. He makes all different types of meats on his grill that he has had since only a few years after his marriage, in 1988. The two of them have had a happy marriage for 18 years. He has two middle school daughters and his loving wife, Pat. He says his proudest moment was when his two daughters were born.

Dave works on computers at home and at his work. He has round the clock computer service. He works at the AOC; his job is the mainframe systems programmer. He installs and maintains the operating program. He's been working there for 7 years. At home on the computer he just does things with NC State or looks up things about life, such as cars, vacations, etc.

Usually after the school year ends Dave and his family go to an amusement park. Dave and his youngest daughter love to go on the roller coasters. While his oldest likes the rides that spin around and around. Mom just likes to sit and watch while drinking a diet soda. Then he spends the rest of his vacation time either at the beach or at his mother-in-laws house in Pennsylvania.
