Narrative, Continued:

When he works, he makes sure that his costumers leave with a good experience. Many of his regulars have become good friends with him. He wants people to keep coming back because then he knows that they are pleased. If some of his regulars are having a bad day, he’ll offer a free cookie to get a smile out of them. When he is working, he makes sure that everyone gets treated fairly.

Daniel thinks that Wake County could improve its morning travel quite a bit. He thinks that they could fix the lights to where they are not causing backup a mile away and he thinks that we could build more roads to lower congestion on major roads. Also, Daniel still wonders why so many schools are trying to switch to the year-round schedule. However, Daniel thinks that all of the citizens are nice and friendly.

Holding down strings on the neck of a guitar to wrapping sandwiches in the fast food business, Daniel has been willing to roll with the opportunities of life. He dropped out of college before he finished because he was given the opportunity to become a franchise owner of the downtown Raleigh Roly Poly. Even though Daniel has nailed a good number of high notes in his life, he characterizes his greatest accomplishment as his family! He has two pre-school daughters. In his business life, he considers keeping his business busy a priority. When he is looking for new employees, Daniel seeks out individuals who are committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of the business. He likes to hire people that will do things the way he wants to have it done. Most of his high level employees are people he has worked with earlier.
