As a child, Chip got into lots of trouble. He was the middle child; he had one older sister and one younger sister. Chip was a very energetic child. As proclaimed by his sister, he was a “handful”. At age two, Chip lost his only pacifier by throwing it over a wall at Edinburgh Castle. His parents panicked. At age three, Chip’s best friend was named Dale. They eventually got in trouble for throwing rocks at cars. At around age eight, he licked the crème off of an entire box of Oreo Cookies. His father caught him, and punished him by making him eat all of the outsides of the Oreos. At age eleven, Chip was fired from his first job as a paperboy. During a freak snowstorm, Chip was delivering papers. As it got colder; Chip decided he didn’t want to continue with his route. Chip decided he was going to shove all of the remaining papers into one mail slot and go home. He never told anyone. Later that week the newspaper called, and said they had received a complaint about a large amount of newspapers being delivered to one house. Chip was eventually punished for his hilarious shenanigans.
Chip moved with his family many times. His father was a navigator in a B-52 for the U.S. Air Force. His first move was when his was six weeks old, to England. He then moved again when he was four, to Las Vegas, Nevada. He moved back to England when he was eight and then home to Mount Olive when he was eleven. When he was seventeen, he went to college at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. After finishing college, he became a traveling computer consultant. He lived in his sister’s house. In 1997, he made his official move to Wake county. He lived in Raleigh. In 2003, he finally moved with his wife and daughter to Apex, where he currently resides. He works as a computer consultant in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has a wife and three beautiful daughters.
