When Antoinette first moved to Apex, NC, it was a quiet town with not too many people. But the population has changed since then. Antoinette is worried about NC’s population growth. She is afraid that if Wake County keeps growing, then Wake County citizens might not be able to have as good a quality of life as they’ve been used to.

Narrative:

Antoinette is a spirited, caring mother who loves to learn. She already has 2 Master’s degrees and she is now working on her PhD in Business. She takes classes from Phoenix University online. Antoinette works as a Director of Acquisitions, which means she is in charge of buying supplies and machines for a company within the National Institute of Environmental and Health Sciences in the Research Triangle Park. Antoinette moved from St. Louis, Missouri, because of her job in 1995. Antoinette loves to use community resources like the library and the community centers. She enjoys jogging and biking in greenways and parks. Probably her most used resource is the library; she uses the library about once a week. Antoinette reads books for fun and she also gets books she needs for her school from the library. When she is not studying or working, she and her family go for a dinner out. They like to go to a nice restaurant (not too expensive though) and have a nice dinner together. She doesn’t have many pets, but her five fat goldfish are treated with tons of care. Even though she longs for a dog, her husband doesn’t.
