The 100 People Foundation works to educate the world about all the different cultures, religions, and lifestyles. They have compiled research to portray the global population in 100 people, so that the whole population can be recognized in a way that is easy to understand.

[Exploris Middle School]
After the fashion of the 100 People Foundation project, Exploris Middle School 7th graders have taken Wake County's population and turned it into 100 people. These 100 representatives of Wake County help to create an appreciation for and understanding of difference in our community.

One demographic trend indicates that older people are moving to Wake County

from other states and other places in NC to be near their grown children and

extended families. If the world were 100 people, 15 would be senior citizens.
