Application Process

Admission to EMS is based on a lottery system. Applications may be brought to one of the Open House sessions or mailed to the school. Download the student application for the 2012-2013 year from here.

Siblings of current students and children of the staff are given preference for admission.

  • Lottery for upcoming 6th grade class (2012-2013 school year) will be held Friday, January 27th. All applications must be received by 3:00 PM Thursday, January 26th.
  • Lottery for 7th and 8th grade classes (2012-2013 school year) will be held Friday, February 3rd. All applications must be received by 3:00 PM Thursday, February 2nd.
  • Rotating student-led tours will be conducted throughout each Open House time period.
  • Visitors can find parking along the streets adjacent to the school or in nearby public lots. Public lots are located on the 100 block of N. West St. and on the 300 block of W. Morgan St. No on-site parking is available.
